Stephen Mildenhall 1c761afa0f 1.2.0 added str() method and other see notes 
New arguments:
* default_formatter (NOT via converting to float)
* raw_cols - not converted to floats
* str_table_fmt for MD format (mixed_grid)
* str_max_width for col widths in text mode
