People really should have figured it out as soon as Hazou didn't roll Roki before rolling taijutsu. Even if they didn't guess what was actually happening, they should have realized that there were enough mistakes that it would have to be rewritten.

Nah, I'm being facetious here, hahah! I figured it out pretty fast just because it didn't follow our plan particularly well. And, you know, infinitesimal chances of that stealth roll.

That stealth roll in particular was the biggest clue, but it's hard to really have an immediate understanding of the improbability of that off of the top of your head.

Also, such a slight success by the civilian would be unlikely to result in immediate screaming so much as MGS-style "huh, what's going on over here?"... at least in my opinion.
