I didn't mean that we made optimal choice, it's that it's all entirely too believable that we would fuck up.

I'll admit, I was surprised that y'all didn't just wait for the next day, after Joutarou left, and grab the civilians then. Instead, y'all exactly recreated the situation from the pseudo-update, which I thought was weird.

I was under the impression that the civilians would be handed off to the "scroll"'s recipient the next day. But I also haven't been paying as much attention (in spite of my post frequency remaining the same :p) to what's going on in the thread as I usually do because I've been at work on my own thing.
