The latest chapter, by the incomparable EagleJarl, can be found here. Velorien has provided a canonical bonus update.
Today, the team tries to go read in the library, talks about getting momma Kurosawa out of Mist, and continues training with Team Gai.
Additionally, Radvic's side-quest updated, MadScientist wrote a holiday omake.
Marked for Death is a story set in a re-engineering of the Naruto-verse, where thread participants vote to control the actions of a single player character - part of a ragtag group of exile ninja who helping each other survive against everything the world can throw at them.
The first chapter is here. To see only the important posts, you can hit 'Reader Mode' button, or got to the story-only thread (without all the amazing fan contributions) here.
Drop by and join us in a world where death lurks around every corner, and where anything is possible for those with the cunning and determination of a true ninja. There’s a guide to voting put together by forum participant Twofold.
The story updates every Thursday (u/Velorien of Lighting Up the Dark) and Sunday (u/eaglejarl of Team Anko, 2 Year Emperor and Induction).

Noooooo, our boooooooks! :(

I honestly didn't intend for that to happen. I had a plan for you guys to walk around the library seeing stuff. Then Auntie walked on stage and told me to sit down, shut up, and write what she told me. I certainly wasn't going to say no; she's scary!

Hahah, I don't mind too much, it was entertaining enough. We'll get our chances to apologize, anyhow.

Is that a real auntie, or the character taking over your work?

The character. This has happened to me a couple times before, where a character starts writing zirself and I'm just along for the ride. It's weird every time.

I get the impression that Kagome is like that sometimes.

He's mostly willing to follow a script -- he really is a team player at heart, once you get past the paranoia and the constant fear and the lack of care for anyone not on his team and...hm, maybe I didn't think this sentence through.

Hahah. Well, at least with Kagome, Mari exists to keep him in check. I doubt she expected Hazou of all people to blow up at this, although I'm sure she'll be privately beating herself up for not.
