I just love the extra chapters; and this one was particularly good.
I take from this that there's no chance Catherine will become Warlord.
Adjunct has certainly developed. To me, his development strengthens the case for him to be the Scribe equivalent.

It's amusing and terrifying to think of a Scribe who can also bludgeon people with other people, when needs be.
