Since it's on Rational, I'm having higher expectations....

But the guy trying to leave those 2 to face the monsters alone (by sitting on a higher branch) is breaking my SoD. They could just stay around him. The monsters WOULD target him just the same.

To be fair, it's been shown he's much faster than them, especially because he's actually an adult. He could probably easily lose them in that forest. So I doubt staying around him would work. It is somewhat annoying they didn't say or think that though. Their reasoning was a bit weird.
