Why are there so many Narutoverse rational fanfics? Is it especially attractive or something?

The universe is richly detailed, with interesting powers and characters, and so full of plot holes and idiocy that it's painful. If you are inclined to write and interested in rationality, the desire to fix the Narutoverse is like an itch.
