Measured a 30% speedup on a 640x640 image. Fundamentally, this makes
fewer passes over the image; so it should never be worse that the
previous implementation.
This relies on imread (https://github.com/luispedro/imread) which
supports a few microscopy formats otherwise hard to read (LSM and
MetaMorph STK) as well as basic ones.
Previously, the plugin perfomed a copy of the bitmap's pixel memory
instead of mapping into a ndarray. This fixes it. Also, it saved images
rotated by 90 degrees as it didn't convert to freeimage's internal
format.
Copying less also makes imread visibly faster.
